ROCHESTER – DAHLC

Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center of Mayo Clinic is undergoing an expansion by adding four additional floors to the center. The expansion is made possible by a generous donation from longtime Mayo Clinic patient, Dan Abhraham, founder of Slim-Fast Foods, and was completed in 2014. The development includes more Mayo Clinic’s wellness offerings, and services for healthy individuals and patients to help improve their overall wellness.
To compliment the center’s comprehensive approach to wellness, GSky installed a VERSA WALL® to accent the lobby with living, breathing plants that will transform the interior into a relaxing oasis for the patients. There are many benefits to having a VERSA WALL® inside a building. The plants on the VERSA WALL® can remove toxins in the air, and capture dust. The process of photosynthesis consumes CO2 and releases O2, which improves the quality of air and provides more energy-rich oxygen.
The VERSA WALL® is a fantastic display of living art that represents Mayo Clinic’s commitment to provide the best care to every patient.
