Indian Creek Residence
OVERVIEW
3 Indian Creek is a 10-bedroom, 14-bathroom, 30,000-square-foot private home located on Miami’s exclusive Indian Creek Island. Designed by famed architect Renee Gonzalez, the home was inspired by Miami’s natural surrounding elements. The home’s 1,475-square-feet Green Wall swirls in a curvilinear design and is located in the home’s courtyard area. The jungle-like walls were included in the Gonzalez’s design to avoid excessive landscaping on the floor and not interfere with walk ways or spacious views from the inside and outside of the home. The green wall features over 17,000 tropical salt-tolerant plants in six green wall sections on three separate walls.

THE PROCESS
The Green Walls are installed on three wall in the court yard of the home. This made the installation challenging as we had to to continually move from surface to surface to install around several windows and openings. The entire installation took 21 days to complete.

MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is performed with a window washing lift system from the roof down. This is because there is a pool system below the Green Walls which makes it impossible to put a lift or ladder below the wall to perform maintenance.
