Georgetown Residence
OVERVIEW
This beautiful Green Wall is based around an Asian theme with Buddist and Hindu statues placed throughout in sections of the wall. The owner wanted to bring home a part of the lush tropical world to which she frequently travels and have it with her at all times.

THE PROCESS
The installation took place in two phases. The first phase included installing the irrigation and frames prior to the holiday season. The frames were cut and measured to fit the statues various sizes throughout the wall and panels were readied at the nursery for these custom sizes. The interior lighting was also installed and angled across the wall for as even a flood as possible. The mechanics of the system were also tested and made ready to receive the plants. The plants were delivered on the 27th of December and installed in a day with the statues.

MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is performed by a ladder that is stored in the floor below the Green Wall. Maintenance visits occur once a week. The owner has also elected to be a part of an Orchid replacement program where these expensive, beautiful plants will be refreshed on an as needed basis.
