Duke University
Duke University is one of the most prestigious Universities in North America. Duke’s beautiful campus is surrounded by trees and green space. In order to maintain this natural atmosphere, most parking is found on the periphery of campus. And in order to soften the impact of the parking lots that do exist, Duke has undertaken bold new initiative with their Research Drive Garage which has been build with sustainability involved.
There are six Green Walls on this building, two at the front entrance consisting of a rectilinear design in the plants, and two at the rear entrance as well. The other two walls are located on alternate exits on the side of the building.
We welcome you to view Duke’s video about the garage which features the Green Walls by visiting YouTube by clicking here.
