Bentall Centre
OVERVIEW
With over 7000 occupants, the Bentall Centre is almost a city in its own right. Located in the heart of Vancouver’s Downtown business district, the Bentall Centre is one of the largest office complexes in Canada, providing a first class working environment for many of Canada’s leading corporations.
Originally the Green Wall was installed as part of a gardening exhibit, however Anne Talbot-Kelly’s design was so well received that the Bentall Centre decided to keep it and it has been growing ever since.

THE PROCESS
The garden design was made by Anne Talbot-Kelly. GSky had originally lent additional panels to the project as it was originally meant to be a temporary installation. After the project was selected to be kept on, GSky sold the panels to the building. The plants were selected from additional panels that GSky had available from other projects, luckily Polypodium glycrrhiza (Licorice Fern) has been very successful.

MAINTENANCE
The Green Walls maintenance is quite simple as the wall is only 4' high, so just regular landscape maintenance is performed as it is on all other landscaping.
