GEORGETOWN U. GEWIRZ STUDENT CENTER

Georgetown University opened a spacious student center in New South residence hall in August 2014. The new facility adds 44,000 sq. ft. of space to the Georgetown University campus, and is designed to be a student-cenetered environment with more social and study space. The main area of the center features ten VERSA WALL®‘s, a cylindrical hearth, tables, couch and other amenities while overlooking the Potomac River. All of the new features were added in an effort to be more green-friendly and welcoming. The VERSA WALL®‘s altogether have about 5000 potted plants that would help purify air, increase energy-rich oxygen and reduce carbon dioxide. So get ready to take a breath of fresh air as it is the perfect place to improve students’ well-being.
